holiday-tree-decoratorsMembers of the Rotary Club of Chester-Long Valley decorated a holiday tree to be auctioned during the 11th Annual Festival of Trees in order to benefit the Senior Resource Center.

This year's theme for the Festival is "Once Upon a Time" and our Club decided to interpret it uniquely by decorating our tree with dinosaurs.

We made garland and ornaments using toy dinosaurs, as well as by using educational picture books and post cards, and topped the tree with Rotary Rex, a not-so-fierce plush Tyrannosaurus rex puppet.

Pictured here are (from left) Club Treasurer Tom O'Donnell, Gift of Life Chair Florence Lambros (with a very small decorating committee supervisor), Club President Suzanne Aitken, and Club Secretary Bill McGuire.
