Shibles Rotary InductionNew Chester resident, Naomi Shibles, is the most recent member of The Rotary Club of Chester-Long Valley. She was inducted into the club on September 30 by District Governor Barry Kroll. Shibles and her husband moved to the area from Hoboken in May. She was most recently Director of Client Services at Vital Business Media in New York City, and now cares for her newborn son.

"I'm most excited to join Rotary in order to contribute to this community," Shibles said. "This is the community to which we have brought our baby home. But, I'm also really excited about the good work, internationally, that this Club does."

The Rotary Club of Chester-Long Valley was chartered in June 1946, and today runs the Chester Farmers' Market, as well as gifting grants and scholarships to local students and schools abroad. The Club's other good works include collecting for local food pantries, donating dictionaries to 3rd graders, and contributing to Rotary International projects worldwide.

The Rotary Club of Chester-Long Valley meets Mondays at 6:45 p.m. at the Lamplighter restaurant in Chester. For more information, call (908) 705-7968.
