The Rotary Club of Chester-Long Valley was chartered in June 1946, and runs the Chester, New Jersey, Farmers’ Market

Some of our projects and contributions include:
  • Scholarships to graduating high school seniors
  • Savings bonds to graduating 8th graders
  • Sponsoring Awards for Science Fair participants related to Global Environment/Health projects.
  • Grants for community projects, such as kickplates for senior housing.
  • Project Dictionary, gifting each student in the 3rd grade in both Chester and Washington Townships a dictionary of their own
  • Washington Township Food Bank collections and contributions
  • Chester Food Bank collections and contributions
  • Project Graduation contribution
  • Club Service Day at Camp Merry Heart in Hackettstown
  • Decorate a Christmas Tree to raise funds for the Senior Resource Center in Chester
  • Global polio eradication
  • Contribution to Rotary International's worldwide projects, including safe drinking water 
  • FUTURE PROJECTS are discussed for consideration during our weekly meetings.
Our Club meets at 6:30pm the first Thursday of each month at New York Pizza in Chester, and at 11:45am at The Publick House in Chester for all other Thursdays during the month.
