The Rotary Club of Chester-Long Valley marched in a parade commemorating Washington Township's 275th Anniversary Celebration Sept. 21. The parade commenced at 4:00 p.m. and marched from Old Farmers Road School in Long Valley, New Jersey, to Long Valley Middle School.

Club President Suzanne Aitken marched with the Club's banner, along with Club guest Naomi Shibles, while Club member and Gift of Life Committee Chair Florence Lambros waved to spectators from the veterans' float.

The event provided our Club exposure to the Long Valley community, as well as to surrounding communities, and was part of Club efforts to grow membership.
